SeaGel is a blend of Matrix Carbon and PhosGuard.
Matrix Carbon is a high capacity carbon used to remove organic and color impurities. PhosGuard is a powerful phosphate, silicate, toxic metal and acid remover. Both types of media are bead shaped for maximum water flow saturation. Matrix Carbon and PhosGuard enhance each other and are ideal for reef, marine and plant aquariums. This product can be used in freshwater that is not phosphate buffered.
