KENT MARINE STRONTIUM & MOLYBDENUM provides these elements needed for proper growth and health of hard and soft corals in liquid form. Strontium is very similar to calcium as invertebrates use it to form skeletonal structures. Coral traditionally respond by staying open longer as it aids tissue adhesion to skeleton. Strontium and Molybdenum are rapidly depleted in aquarium systems. These minerals are used by purple, pink and green calcareous algae, snails, hard tube worms and clams for exoskeleton and shell development. Does not contain phosphates, nitrates or gluconates.
